No. This workshop is designed as a true introduction to robotic surgery. No prior laparoscopic or robotic training is required. Participants at all experience levels are welcome.
Training is conducted on the Toumai MT-1000 — the only NAFDAC-approved robotic surgical platform in Nigeria, deployed at Nisa Premier Hospital, Jabi, Abuja.
Register and complete payment on or before Jul 15, 2026 to receive the 20% early-bird rate of ₦336,000. After this date, the regular fee of ₦420,000 applies.
Yes. During registration you will select your preferred date (from available dates within the workshop window) and your preferred session — Morning (8:00 AM–9:30 AM WAT) or Afternoon (2:00 PM–3:30 PM WAT).
Yes. All participants receive a RoboMed™ Academy Certificate of Participation, along with CME credit hours recognised by Nigerian surgical societies.
This workshop serves as the entry point to the full RoboMed™ Academy credentialing programme. Participants who wish to continue can enrol in subspecialty modules and proctored live-case training leading to full robotic surgeon certification. Details are available at robomedacademy.com.
